Going Big

We’re big on building infrastructure at Atlantic TNG. BIG infrastructure in this case. We recently delivered a 144-inch-diameter sanitary lift station for the Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District in Sarasota. Our TNG crew cast the lift station in seven sections, with the heaviest segment weighing in at a hefty 29,600 pounds. The inside of the structure features an AGRU Sure Grip protective liner cast integrally into the concrete to prevent corrosion and extend the life of the structure. The outside is coated with Concrete Sealants’ CS-55, a water-based eco-friendly acrylic coating. When fully assembled by contractors from Westra Construction in Palmetto, FL, the lift station will rise 25 feet from its excavation. We love seeing these big boys leave our yard and head out to protect Florida’s environment!
