Curb inlets assist in stormwater drainage from streets and parking lots. The curb inlet consists of a surface level drainage portal cut into the curb and underground structures to allow for smooth and efficient movement of stormwater into the drainage system.
Required by many municipalities wherever fat, oil and grease (known as FOG substances) are produced, precast concrete grease interceptors trap and store FOG byproducts to keep them from entering sewer systems and septic tanks, where they could clog pipes and create obstructions.
